About Search
'SEARCH’s House of Tiny Treasures prepared 50 children for school and a better start in life.'

You do not need to travel far in Houston before seeing a person who is homeless. Few of us can imagine, let alone understand, the circumstances that led to a human being begging for survival on the streets of our great city.

At SEARCH Homeless Services, we engage with people on the streets to ask the tough questions, listen to their stories and provide the essential services needed to get people off the streets and back on their feet.

From isolation to integration, SEARCH’s services transform people. It is difficult work and we need your help to continue our mission.

How can you get involved today?

1. Review the Q&A Section on this website to learn more about homelessness and how SEARCH’s services work.

2. Download our printable Resource Card and hand it out to people who would benefit from our services. Keep copies in your car.

3. Become familiar with the Do’s and Don’ts to learn how to help (and not enable) someone on the streets.

4.Take a tour of SEARCH. Learn first hand who we’re helping. Click here for more information.

Want to do even more?

1. Join Friends of SEARCH and be part of a community of supporters.
