About Search
'In 2010 alone, 9,692 (1 in 4 people who experienced homelessness in Houston) were engaged and helped by SEARCH.'

SEARCH Homeless Services helps thousands of men, women and children each year move from the streets, into jobs and safe, stable housing.

SEARCH Homeless Services meets clients where they are and gets them back on their feet through services that engage, stabilize, educate, employ and house.

SEARCH Homeless Services programs work because:
1) We are able to obtain the support of people like you who are committed to improving our community;
2) We stick to what we do best, providing critical support services because the problem of homelessness cannot be fixed with housing alone;
3) We educate and teach adults the skills to become employable and thrive; and
4) We break the cycle of homelessness by investing in the children.

There’s nothing like real hope and good opportunities to help people transform their lives.
