In the mid-1990’s, SEARCH adopted several evidence-based practices as the primary theoretical approaches upon which to base our work with clients. These models are used to help consumers who are experiencing a wide-range of both physical and behavioral health challenges.
Transtheoretical Model of Intentional Behavior Change
The TTM is more commonly known as the Stages of Change model. SEARCH’s Executive VP, Cathy Crouch, is co-author of the best-selling Group Treatment for Substance Abuse: A Stages of Change Therapy Manual. Training is offered in:
- Assessing readiness and designing stage-appropriate interventions
- Training in utilization of the manual
